Consultation response: New alcohol duty system

The Government published a proposed new alcohol duty system at the 2021 Autumn Budget, based on the evidence submitted in 2020. The consultation closed on 30 January 2022.

Below you can download and read our response to the consultation which was submitted to the Treasury. The Treasury will respond and set out the final plans in 2022, as well as consulting on the legislation in summer 2022.
