Hepworth Brewery is a relatively new company, established in 2000, although founder Andy Hepworth has been making beer since the 1980s. They have a range of three 0.5% beers, of which this amber ale is one.
The first thing we noticed was its lovely beery aroma. The drink feels a little thin, but it’s got a nice balance of malt and hops, plus an intriguing hint of agave. Altogether, it’s a good alcohol-free take on a traditional ale.
